I had a moment this morning driving back from Birmingham after dropping my Mom and daughter off at the airport. Driving on the highway, window down, the sun coming up, and the smells of nature blowing in my car. I had the radio on and an old country song came on that I hadn’t heard in a long time. The song was ,Time Marches On, by Tracy Lawrence. The lyrics , the smells , the look of the country, brought back a flood of memories and emotions of past family members now gone. If you don’t know the song, look it up and listen. I shed some tears, life is still moving along and we are all aging and moving up the stairway and will be the next one in line. Here are the lyrics.
